Filtering Data

To filter shown data, you should click  in the column which you want to base your filter on and select the column values which the shown rows must have:

If the current table has too many different values of the filter column then you can either select a range of available values or define the needed value with a text string. For example, the following filter shows persons which have last names starting with ‘ac’:

Note that filter criteria are not case sensitive.

If the column has dates then a special date filtering dialog will be shown to simplify filtering by date:

The yellow funnel icon shows that the current view uses a filter.

Note that when you save a view, the used filter is saved together with the view.
