Introducing Vine desktop and Web clients
Vine is a visual tool for handling company business activities, such as organizing customer contact information, planning and following projects, scheduling everyday appointments, and much more. It will help you to manage vast amounts of widely varying data with a graphical, easy to use interface.
The following list In lists objects are represented by small icons and object names. Icons help you to recognize object types. Press a keyboard character (a letter or a digit) to jump to the list item that starts from this character. Scheduling, Remembering and Reminding. Vine seamlessly combines the following most popular features of personal information and contact managers: Calendar, To Do List and Reminder messages. Calendar allows you to effectively schedule daily activities. To Do List keeps track of your meetings and current projects. The Reminder application sends you messages about urgent tasks and appointments.

Visualizing data and connections Vine objects are linked to each other by connections. Vine shows an object together with links to all objects directly connected to it.. You can create an organization chart by simply dragging object icons Each object type has its icon that distinguishes objects of that type from objects of other types. In an object’s view there is a large icon; in lists, objects are represented by small icons. and creating visual links between objects All information in Vine is stored in the server database as named objects of different types. Examples: a company, a person, an event, a sales case.. Using Maps you can visualize all company process flows and data connections.

Managing workgroups. Vine allows several people in a workgroup to access the same database. You can insert events into the calendar of your subordinate, and Vine will take responsibility for notification.

Vine has a familiar and intuitive interface employing some of the best elements from modern operating systems and web browsers, such as customizable menus and toolbars, Back/Forward buttons, History list, status area, context dependent right-click menu, resizable window panes, the extensive use of drag &drop technique. It is possible to use Vine desktop client both in the office, while connected to the main database, and when traveling, using a portable computer and a local database Vine for Windows uses a local database located on your computer. It significantly reduces traffic to the server database and permits you to use Vine off-line.. Vine desktop client can work in offline mode so that you can continue working even when no database connection available. It will synchronize the local database with the server database The main Vine database that is located on the server computer and stores data from all Vine end users. when it gets online.
