Vine Mail Merge plug-ins are used to automate creation of repetitive Word documents which consist of the same text but include data varying from copy to copy. Available mail merge plug-ins show up in the plug-in section of the right – click menu for the currently selected objects All information in Vine is stored in the server database as named objects of different types. Examples: a company, a person, an event, a sales case.:

For example, a mail merge plug-in can be designed to create form letters. In form letters most of the text and formatting do not change and only variable contact data is automatically added from the Vine database.

By default, Vine does not include any mail merge plugins but they can be created additionally.
