Printing Labels

To print out an object All information in Vine is stored in the server database as named objects of different types. Examples: a company, a person, an event, a sales case.'s data in the form of mailing labels from the Print dialog, select Labels from the Print list In lists objects are represented by small icons and object names. Icons help you to recognize object types. Press a keyboard character (a letter or a digit) to jump to the list item that starts from this character. The first matching item will be chosen, counting from the top of the list.:

Note, that if you have not previously stored labels in the database then the Layout list will be empty and only the New button will be enabled.

  1. Click Edit or New if you are creating your first label. The Print Label Layout window will appear. Here you can design and save new mailing labels. For details on using this dialog, see Designing a Label.

  2. After you have finished editing a new label in the Print Label Layout dialog, click Save. You will return to the Print window. The Print window reminds you about the settings of the label chosen from the Layout list.

Now whenever you open the Print dialog you will be able to select the needed layout from the Layout list and then edit, duplicate or delete it.

You can set common printer settings using the Properties button.

Note that the Print dialog gives you the possibility to start printing from any cell on a page. Just click the cell that you find appropriate. This may prove practical if your previous print job has not completely used up the last page.

To print the selected data using the label selected from the Print dialog, click Print.
