Viewing Documents

To view a document you can:

• Open its summary view and click View Document.

• Right-click the document anywhere and select View Document.

Selecting View Document will, first, load the document from the database to the folder A folder in Vine is a named group of objects. set for temporary files on your computer and then open the document in a read-only mode. You can view the document but you cannot save it with the same file name. The name of the file will include the ID of the document object All information in Vine is stored in the server database as named objects of different types. Examples: a company, a person, an event, a sales case. in the Vine database.

Please note that the document management tool opens a document in a program associated with the file name extension in Windows.
